Shipping Details:
Shipping is at the responsibility of the buyer. Small Items will be shipped by Canada Post after items have been verified.
Larger items (larger than parcel size) will be shipped by the freight line determined by the buyer of the assets. all shipping arrangements must be made with in 24 hours of auction and all assets MUST be picked up or shipped with in 72 hours of online auction finish time. All shipping costs will be charged to the buyer or charged collect.
Kastner Auctions does not ship any alcoholic items(lots).
Payment Details:
All Items will be auto charged with in 24 hours of the auction. Please go to kastner.auction/easy and please sign up for curbside pickup or delivery. To have your items shipped please click the "I prefer shipping" box on your online profile.
Vehicle Payment Terms:
1.Vehicles are charged a maximum of $750 buyers premium.
2.Vehicle purchases over $3500 will be paid by debit, cash or bank draft Only, (credit card payments will not be accepted over this amount)
Accepted Payment Methods:
Live auctions will be subject to a 15% buyers premium (unless otherwise noted). Also note some items will be subject to a handing fee. (Glassware that must be packed, pictures that must be wrapped, etc etc.) If shipping is not arranged within 72 hours the buyer agrees the auctioneer may auto ship all items at the buyers expense.
Online bidding during the Live Auction is a fast process, and therefore there is no confirmation given - bids will be taken immediately and are irrevocable.
The highest bidder shall be the purchaser upon the completion of bid verification. Bid verification will commence upon the conclusion of a live auction and may last 24 hours. All winning bidders shall be notified by email within the 24 hour bid verification period.
Kastner Auctions Ltd. is authorized to charge any bidders credit card for a deposit on any purchase(s) over $1000 during the auction. If deposit is not available bidding privileges may be revoked.
No bidder shall retract their bid. In the event of a dispute between two or more bidders, the auctioneer, at his sole discretion may put the lot up for resale to the highest bidder.
A bidder is deemed to have accepted an item when making a bid.
The auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time prior to the time of sale of such lot.
The auctioneer reserves the right not to accept any bid which is only a partial advance over the preceding bid.
The auctioneer may break down or consolidate any lot or lots at his sole discretion.
Kastner Auctions Limited assumes no responsibility for any liability once a bid is accepted. It is recommended that purchasers arrange insurance for their purchases in advance.
Except as set out herein, there shall be no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise of any nature.
Please take advantage of in person preview as all items are sold "As Is, Where Is" - catalogues are prepared only as a guide. No sale shall be invalidated by any reason or defect or inaccuracy of description in catalogue or otherwise, and no liability shall be borne by the auctioneers by virtue of any such fault or error. All sales final.
Attendance at the auction, preview, or removal by bidders and guests is done at their sole risk. Kastner Auctions assumes no risk or liability, statutory, common law or otherwise whatsoever for the safety of those attending at the auction premises.
All lots must be paid for on day of sale by Money, cash or credit card where acceptable. Internet bidders shall have within 24 hours upon receipt of their email notification to pay for their items.
All applicable excise and sales taxes shall be added to the purchase price.
The purchaser is not entitled to possession until all items have been paid for in full. In the event that the purchase prices are not paid within the prescribed time, the auctioneer shall have the right to resell such items in whatever manner he sees fit without notice to the purchaser. Any shortfall from sale plus commission and expenses thereof shall be paid by the purchaser.
All costs and responsibilities of removal shall be borne by the purchaser/bidder within the time prescribed by the auctioneer. The auctioneer may require proof of adequate insurance from the purchaser. The purchaser/bidder herby indemnifies the auctioneer and the vendor against any and all damages arising from the dismantling and removal of any lots.
Any lots not removed within the prescribed time shall be subject to storage, moving, disposal and service charges at the sole risk and expense of the purchaser. All such lots shall be deemed as abandoned and shall be subject to resale for the recovery of such charges. The purchaser shall also be liable for any rent or damages sustained by the auctioneer for failure to remove any lot.
If for any reason, Kastner Auctions Ltd is unable to deliver any or all of an awarded lot or title thereof, the sole liability of Kastner Auctions Ltd shall be the refund of any monies paid on the lot.
It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to remove their items within the prescribed time. Kastner Auctions Ltd will NOT provide any delivery or transport of any nature for live auction items.

when bidding for an item that has quantity greater than 1, if you are
successful, you will receive one of the grouping, not necessarily the first

All vehicle purchased must be paid by cash, debit, or bank draft. A maximum of $1000 deposit can be put on your credit card.
*NOTE: Any person whom does not satisfy a debt within proper auction deadlines will be considered a non-payee and will be charged 30% of total selling price or $60 (whichever is greater). A collection agency will be used to acquire outstanding funds. Warning: if one defaults on payment their credit rating may be negatively affected.
On all purchases over $1000.00 there will be a non refundable 10% deposit applied to the registered credit card that was used for your contract upon registration.
