For sale is this hand made sterling silver candle holders by Carl Poul Petersen of Montreal, Canada. The candle holders are hand made from solid sterling silver with leaves and the "Blossom" Pattern and sits on a round everted rim base. Dimensions 5 3/4 inches across by 3 3/4 inches high. There are no monogram and it's in very good vintage condition.

Carl Poul Petersen (1895 - 1977). Biography
Carl Poul Petersen was born in Denmark in 1895 died in Montreal in 1977. He apprenticed with Georg Jensen between 1908 and 1913, and eventually became a Master Silversmith himself. He married Jensen's daughter, Inger, in 1922. Then they moved to Montreal, Canada in 1929 where he was employed by Henry Birks & Son. In1939 he started his own business, which remained in operation until 1975.
He crafted jewelery, flatware, tea sets, serving pieces, bar sets, etc. They are all of very high quality, and are highly collectible.

We will ship all over the world. Buyer pays for shipping. At the end of the auction, we will calculate shipping and add it to your final invoice. If you win multiple items, we will combine shipping. We will pack your item with a professional packer using the safest materials.

Payment has to be done within 24 hours after the auction.

2. BUYER'S PREMIUM: A 15% buyer's premium is charged on all items for auction sale above the auction sale price. The purchase price including buyer's premium must be paid in full by the successful bidder within 24 hours of the auction.
3. RESERVE or MINIMUM PRICES: If a lot is offered subject to a reserve or minimum price (the confidential minimum price below which the lot will not be sold), the Auctioneer may implement such reserve by bidding on behalf of the consignor, whether by opening bidding or continuing bidding until the reserve is obtained, or by placing consecutive bids, or bids in response to other bidders.
4. BIDDING: The Auction House reserves the right to reject a bid from any bidder. The highest bidder acknowledged by the Auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders the Auctioneer shall have sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder or to reopen bidding.
5.Item must be paid off within 48 hrs after the completion of the auction.
6.The total sales price of an item includes the hammer price plus a 15% buyer's premium. Framing for unframed artwork, packing, shipping, and insurance is extra. We accept paypal and wire transfer. Please check with us if you have any question regarding payment or any other subject.
