August 7, 1945 Washington Post Newspaper
Here's one for the history buffs. The Washington Post newspaper from August 7, 1945 with some of the first reporting of the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima the day before. Full newspaper (16 pages). About half of it is various stories on the atomic bomb which had been the biggest secret of World War II. Newspaper is intact with all 16 pages, but there is chipping on some of the edges consistent with an 80 year old newspaper. Small tear on the bottom left of the front page. Small water marks along the top title of the front page. A great addition for the history of military collector detailing one of the most important days in history.
