An unusual and interesting design from the Ernest Street workshops of Townshend & Co. Birmingham, brassfounders from the 1880s but not re-started as such after the 1914-18 war.
It is beautiful antique piece for teapot collectors
Overall, this is in good condition and is an excellent example of how pleasing artistic creations can be produced by an industrial process and as can be seen, polishes up well although as yet, no genie has appeared.

Although there is a small dents on the frontside (see detailed picture) these are only shallow and there are no significant blemishes, the soldered joints are all good and are watertight, the handle assembly is firmly attached to the body

We will ship all over the world. Buyer pays for shipping. At the end of the auction, we will calculate shipping and add it to your final invoice. If you win multiple items, we will combine shipping. We will pack your item with a professional packer using the safest materials.

2. BUYER'S PREMIUM: A 15% buyer's premium is charged on all items for auction sale above the auction sale price. The purchase price including buyer's premium must be paid in full by the successful bidder within 24 hours of the auction.
3. RESERVE or MINIMUM PRICES: If a lot is offered subject to a reserve or minimum price (the confidential minimum price below which the lot will not be sold), the Auctioneer may implement such reserve by bidding on behalf of the consignor, whether by opening bidding or continuing bidding until the reserve is obtained, or by placing consecutive bids, or bids in response to other bidders.
4. BIDDING: The Auction House reserves the right to reject a bid from any bidder. The highest bidder acknowledged by the Auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders the Auctioneer shall have sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder or to reopen bidding.
5.Item must be paid off within 48 hrs after the completion of the auction.
6.The total sales price of an item includes the hammer price plus a 15% buyer's premium. Framing for unframed artwork, packing, shipping, and insurance is extra. We accept paypal and wire transfer. Please check with us if you have any question regarding payment or any other subject.
